At George Moore Chevrolet, we take pride in being a part of the Jacksonville community. We work to give back to those that have given so much to us. Take a look back on all the good times we had this past year – we do much more than sell cars. 

ZO6 Allocation for Charity Donation 

George Moore raised over $40,000 for two local charities in 2022. We used our short supply of the all-new 2023 Corvette Z06 to encourage customers to donate to a charity of their choice to secure a top spot on our buyer list. 

We decided to award the very first ZO6 allocation spot to the highest donation to a Jacksonville organization. Customers could choose from causes including V For Victory, a charity that provides support to families dealing with cancer, the Jacksonville Humane Society in support of local animals, or Wish For Our Heroes, a charity dedicated to meeting the needs of local military families. 

JSO Involvement 

George Moore also has an ongoing relationship with the Jacksonville Sheriff Office. We engage in a series known as Tuesday Talks to show our support for those that serve and learn more about the stories that make them who they are. 

We also present an officer or JSO employee with the Community Engagement Officer of the Month award each episode to highlight why they deserve #MooreLove from the Jacksonville community. 

Charity Golf Tournaments 

At George Moore, we also participate in a number of golf tournaments to support many causes around the Jacksonville community and beyond. Just last Friday, our team was a part of the St. John Paul II Catholic Church Nocatee Charity Golf Tournament!

Other tournaments that we have participated in by sponsoring holes or hosting hole-in-one giveaways include Operation New Hope, Lynch’s Irish American Golf Tournament benefited Jacksonville Firefighters Charities & FOP Charities and Palmer Catholic School Golf Tournament. 

Jax Picks 

In 2022, we hosted Jax Picks, a competition where we set out to find the best of the best for specific food categories from pizza to donuts and brisket to subs. Through this competition, we were able to shine a light on all the great businesses throughout Jacksonville and encourage others to support small/local businesses. 

We kicked this series off with a video competition series and involved members of the Jacksonville community to be the judges and provide their input. We are proud to share this list as we know it reflects Jacksonville well!

2022 was a fulfilling year for George Moore Chevrolet, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the Jacksonville, FL community.
